The Patriotic Movement for the Prosperity of the People (MP3) in Cameroon has extended congratulations to Tiriane Balbine Noah on her election as president of the Movement for the Renaissance of Cameroon (MRC) on October 20th. Noah succeeds Maurice Kamto, following an election held on October 17, 2026. The MP3, led by Hiram Samuel Iyodi, expressed its warm congratulations to Noah and the newly elected national bureau. The party’s president previously lauded the MRC’s election as a lesson in democracy during a broadcast on Canal 2 International. Noah has committed to continuing the work of her predecessors and maintaining the MRC’s influence despite ongoing challenges. The MP3 hopes this new leadership will contribute to strengthening democratic pluralism and citizen participation in Cameroon.
