Dangerous infant formula has reportedly reappeared for sale in the Czech Republic, according to inspectors from the State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority (SZPI). The prohibited batches were discovered in three cities across the country, despite a sales ban implemented in February. Authorities suspect the products may contain the dangerous toxin cereulid, which can cause vomiting and diarrhea. In severe cases, exposure to the toxin could lead to organ failure. The inspection authority advises parents to check their homes for the recalled batches and return them to the retailer. The SZPI is investigating how the banned formula re-entered the market in the Czech Republic. Consumers are urged to be vigilant and ensure the safety of infant formula purchases.
