Ali Hasan has been hospitalized for one month and ten days with a severe leg injury. Palash Sheikh has been in hospital for twenty-four days after losing one arm. The original Bengali quote, “অস্ত্র দিয়ে বলে, যুদ্ধ করতে হবে না, সামনে-পিছে যাবা” ("They say with weapons, 'You don't have to fight, just go forward and backward'"), suggests the men were likely compelled into a situation involving armed conflict. Details surrounding the circumstances of their injuries and the context of the quote remain unclear. Both men are currently receiving medical care, enduring significant physical trauma and lengthy recovery periods in the hospital. Their cases highlight the devastating human cost of conflict and the challenges faced by those wounded in such situations. Further investigation is needed to understand the full scope of events leading to their injuries.
