Spanish retailer Lefties, owned by Inditex – the parent company of Zara – has opened its fifth store in Romania, located in the AFI Cotroceni shopping mall in Bucharest. This new location is the largest mall in the country and occupies space previously held by C&A. Lefties entered the Romanian market in October 2023 with its first store in Craiova, coinciding with the opening of the Promenada mall. The brand is positioned as a more affordable alternative to Zara, offering budget-friendly fashion options. This expansion signals continued investment by Inditex in the Romanian retail sector. The opening in AFI Cotroceni aims to capitalize on the mall’s high foot traffic and broad customer base. Profit.ro first reported the new store opening.
