At least 73 people were injured in attacks on Saudi Arabia carried out by the Iran-backed Houthis from Yemen, according to the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen. The coalition has vowed a firm response to the recent escalation in hostilities. The Houthis, controlling much of northern Yemen and its most populated areas, initiated these attacks after declaring a naval blockade against Riyadh in July. Their attacks have specifically targeted vessels in the Red Sea. This latest outbreak represents a continuing challenge to stability in the region as the conflict in Yemen persists. The Saudi-led coalition remains committed to addressing these threats and maintaining security in Saudi Arabia.
