A Yemeni adventurer known as “Spider-Man of Yemen,” Al-Qaqa ibn Antar, 30, died Friday after falling into a volcanic crater while climbing. Antar was attempting to scale the steep walls of the Hardah Dam crater in Yemen without safety equipment when he lost his grip. Authorities report he fell approximately 120 meters to his death. The Hardah Dam is a volcanic site known for its challenging terrain. Antar had gained a local reputation for his daring climbs in the region.
