A series of four writing workshops will be held in July, each focusing on a distinct literary discipline. The workshops will span four days and feature instruction from prominent Bangladeshi writers and journalists. Poet Sajid Sharif will lead the poetry workshop, while poet and fiction writer Anisul Haq will guide participants in short story writing. Sumana Sharmin, an associate editor at Prothom Alo, will conduct a workshop on feature and news writing. Finally, translator and fiction writer Faruq Mainuddin will lead a workshop dedicated to the art of translation. The workshops aim to develop skills in these four key areas of writing and journalism.
