Wrestler Ahmadou Bamba Ndiaye, known as “Usine,” has been arrested and detained in Dakar, Senegal, and is cooperating with investigators regarding a counterfeit money operation. “Usine” alleges his nephew, Oumar Kane, nicknamed “Reug Reug,” was fully aware that a package he delivered contained counterfeit bills intended for processing. According to “Usine’s” testimony given on September 25th and 26th, 2026, at the Faidherbe research brigade, he was directed by his spiritual guide, Diégane Faye (“Saltigué Diégou”), to an apartment where he expected to find someone who could “wash” the money. “Usine” claims “Reug Reug” arrived in his Mazda vehicle with the package, unaware they were dealing with undercover agents. He further states that “Reug Reug” had been holding the counterfeit money for approximately twenty days and was to receive a share of the profits, estimated at 750 million francs CFA. The origin of the bills is traced to a plumber named G. M. from a village in Thiès, who remains at large, and a broken bill-making machine sent for repair to The Gambia by “Usine” for 1.5 million francs CFA.
