Low-cost carrier Wizz Air is bolstering its service between Sarajevo and Rome, adding a weekly flight to the popular route. Beginning September 9, 2026, the airline will operate three flights weekly, up from the current two. The additional flight will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, providing travellers with increased flexibility. This expansion was announced by Zlatko Mijatović, the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton. The increased connectivity is expected to benefit both tourism and business travel between the two cities.
