Residents of West Pokot County are prioritizing water access and job creation as the county government begins preparing its 2027/2028 County Annual Development Plan. Public participation forums across all six sub-counties revealed a strong desire for increased investment in essential services. Besides water and employment, residents also highlighted the need for improvements in education, healthcare, and road infrastructure. The county government is collecting these views to ensure the C-ADP accurately reflects community needs. Youth empowerment was a particularly prominent request, indicating a desire for opportunities for the younger generation. These proposals aim to guide resource allocation and development projects over the next two fiscal years.
