Seventeen Vietnamese universities have been included in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, which assess institutions based on their contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Notably, ten of these universities have improved their positions compared to the previous year. The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City achieved the highest ranking among Vietnamese institutions, placing within the 101-200 bracket globally. This marks a significant advancement for Vietnamese higher education in demonstrating commitment to sustainability. The rankings consider factors such as research, teaching, and outreach activities related to environmental and social impact.
