Vietnamese police have rescued over 400 cats during a raid targeting a criminal group in Ho Chi Minh City. The operation led to the arrest of nine individuals suspected of involvement in illegal animal trading. Authorities discovered the large number of felines while investigating the group’s activities. Approximately 40 of the rescued cats have already been returned to their original owners. The remaining cats are currently in the care of animal welfare organizations.
