On the morning of October 13th, General Phan Văn Giang hosted a welcoming ceremony and held talks with General Khamliang Outhakaysone, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Laos and Minister of National Defence of Laos. The meeting took place in Vietnam. The discussions focused on strengthening the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the growing collaboration in defense security, highlighting its contribution to regional peace and stability. They also agreed on future directions to enhance cooperation, including increasing exchanges between the military forces of both countries. The meeting reinforced the close ties between the two nations and their commitment to mutual support.
