Vietnamese academics have released the nation’s first textbook dedicated to artificial intelligence, titled “Modern AI: From Classical Principles to Foundation Models.” Authored by Professor and Doctor Thai Tra My and Associate Professor and Doctor Nguyen Phi Le, the book aims to provide a holistic understanding of the field. The text covers both the foundational principles of AI and contemporary foundation models. It represents a significant contribution to AI education resources available in the Vietnamese language. The authors intend the book to be accessible to students and professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of AI. The publication addresses a gap in Vietnamese-language learning materials on this rapidly evolving technology. This new resource is expected to support the growing interest and development of AI within Vietnam.
