The Venezuelan government has activated 11 Temporary Disposal Centers in La Guaira to manage debris following recent landslides. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Ecosocialism and in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (PNUD) and private companies, aims to accelerate recovery efforts. Over 8,700 tons of waste have already been collected through technical deployment and environmental monitoring. The centers will facilitate the processing and removal of rubble from affected areas. The operation combines governmental resources, international aid, and private sector expertise. This coordinated response is crucial for restoring normalcy and mitigating environmental risks. The project demonstrates a commitment to addressing the aftermath of the disaster and rebuilding infrastructure.
