Nine US prosecutors, specializing in areas like cartel activity, drug trafficking, money laundering, human trafficking, corruption, and border security, are initiating collaboration with Guatemala’s Ministerio Público (MP) and Ministerio de Gobernación (Mingob). This cooperation aims to address complex criminal challenges within Guatemala. The US legal professionals bring expertise in prosecuting transnational crimes, offering support to Guatemalan authorities.
