The Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta (UMJ) has dispatched 1,000 students for its 2026 Community Service Program (KKN). The launch event took place at the K.H. Ahmad Azhar Basyir Auditorium on campus. This year's program emphasizes strengthening internationalization efforts alongside the core values of Al-Ma’un, focusing on mutual assistance and community upliftment. UMJ aims to broaden the students’ horizons through real-world application of their studies. The KKN program is a mandatory part of the curriculum for UMJ students, providing practical experience and fostering social responsibility. The university hopes this initiative will contribute significantly to community development while enhancing the students’ global perspective. By integrating internationalization into the service program, UMJ seeks to prepare graduates for a more interconnected world.
