Construction of a new school and kindergarten complex in Ulaanbaatar’s Songinokhairkhan district is currently 40% complete. The complex, funded by the city budget, will have a capacity for 280 children. The building will span 2,431.3 square meters across two floors and will be barrier-free. Current work focuses on exterior engineering networks, electrical installations, and interior finishing. City officials state the completion of the complex will improve access to early childhood and primary education. The project, which began in 2022, has a budget of 5.9 billion Mongolian Tugrik and is slated for completion this year.
