A Ukrainian firm, UFORCE, participated in NATO’s largest naval drone drill, REPMUS 26, deploying eleven crewless boats and eight drones. During the exercise, UFORCE personnel simulated both offensive and defensive roles. The drills took place in Portugal, where the country’s president inspected one of UFORCE’s boats while docked. REPMUS 26 is a significant demonstration of uncrewed systems technology within a collaborative NATO environment. UFORCE’s involvement highlights Ukraine’s growing capabilities in the development and deployment of naval drones. The exercise provided a valuable opportunity to test and refine these technologies alongside allied forces in Portugal. This participation also underscored the increasing importance of uncrewed systems in modern naval warfare.
