The Ukrainian military has implemented a unique system allowing soldiers to earn points for successful combat operations and use them to purchase weapons, equipment, and supplies through an internal marketplace. This “Amazon-style” platform currently offers over 800 different systems. Points are awarded not solely for enemy eliminations, but also for actions like successful reconnaissance missions and rescuing fellow soldiers. The initiative aims to rapidly address battlefield needs and empower soldiers to directly influence their equipment. Over 400 units are currently utilizing the system, demonstrating its growing adoption within the armed forces. This innovative approach seeks to streamline procurement and boost morale by directly linking performance to access to essential resources. The program represents a novel strategy for sustaining the war effort and adapting to evolving battlefield demands.
