Ugandan General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, recently returned to X (formerly Twitter) after a month-long break, reignited a public dispute with his brother-in-law, Odrek Rwabwogo. Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces, launched a series of critical posts aimed at Rwabwogo and the presidential advisory body he leads. The posts represent a continuation of ongoing tensions within the family and Uganda’s political landscape. This outburst follows a period of relative silence from the General on social media. Kainerugaba also issued a warning to the media regarding their coverage of the situation. The renewed feud raises questions about power dynamics and internal conflicts within the Ugandan government.
