The Ugandan government will compensate Phaneroo Ministries International for land needed to build a crucial access road to the new Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) specialized cardiac hospital in Naguru. A dispute between the church and the Institute had previously stalled the project’s advancement. Dr. John Omagino, UHI’s executive director, confirmed the resolution of the disagreement. This compensation will allow construction of the access road to proceed as planned. The new hospital aims to significantly improve cardiac care in Uganda. The agreement clears a major obstacle for the timely completion of the vital healthcare facility. This demonstrates a commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure despite initial challenges.
