Uganda is seeking qualified businesses to bid on contracts related to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. The Local Organising Committee (LOC) has initiated a pre-qualification process for firms interested in participating in the procurement opportunities. This move unlocks billions of dollars in potential contracts for suppliers and service providers. The invitation is part of preparations for hosting the prestigious football event, known as AFCON PAMOJA 2027. Interested companies are encouraged to register to be considered when the contracts are officially rolled out later this year. This represents a significant economic opportunity for businesses both within Uganda and potentially internationally. The Ugandan government aims to leverage the tournament to stimulate economic growth and showcase the country.
