Two teenage girls have been awarded 550,000 euros in damages following a terrifying incident at an amusement park. The event occurred in 2024 at the Oaks Amusement Park located in Portland, Oregon. While riding the AtmosFEAR attraction, the ride suffered a mechanical failure. The girls were left stranded and hanging upside down approximately 30 meters above the ground. They remained trapped in this precarious position for 25 minutes before being rescued. The legal settlement addresses the trauma and distress caused by the malfunction.
