Two children, bothBS approximately ten years old, drowned on Thursday at Unité 15 beach in the Parcelles Assainies area of Dakar. The victims were reportedly together in the water before the tragic incident occurred. Firefighters conducted extensive search operations, resulting in the recovery of one body. However, the second child remains missing despite ongoing efforts. Law enforcement officials discovered the recovered body on the beach covered by a white sheet. Initial assessments confirmed the victim was a ten-year-old boy. The body has been transported to Idrissa Pouye General Hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
