Pape Malick Sarr, known as “Dianetal Mara” and popular on TikTok for showcasing supposed mystical powers with a snake, has been arrested in Bargny, Senegal. He faces serious charges including rape resulting in pregnancy, death threats, and inflicting injuries causing six days of incapacity. The arrest follows complaints from two women: a bank employee and a pregnant patient. The bank employee alleges she sought prayers from Sarr after seeing his videos and was subsequently lured to a forest, assaulted, and threatened with a knife. The second complaint accuses Sarr of sexually abusing a young woman who sought traditional healing with her mother. Sarr has reportedly confessed to the crimes and is currently in police custody.
