Golf superstar Tiger Woods appeared in court Wednesday regarding his March arrest for driving under the influence. He entered a no-contest plea related to the incident, avoiding a criminal conviction. As a result of the plea, Woods has lost his driver’s license for five years. The case stemmed from an early morning incident where police found Woods unresponsive in his vehicle. He later admitted to using prescription medications which impaired his ability to drive. While avoiding jail time, Woods will also be required to complete probation and attend DUI school. This marks a low point for the golfing icon, who has faced numerous personal struggles in recent years.
