A three-party coalition composed of the Hradecký demokratický klub (HDK), TOP 09, and a coalition of the Pirates, Mayors, and the “Change for Hradec” association, along with the Green Party and KDU-ČSL, has emerged victorious in elections in Hradec Králové. Pavlína Springerová, the current mayor from HDK, will be the coalition’s candidate for the position of mayor. Representatives from HDK and TOP 09 have indicated ongoing discussions regarding the potential inclusion of the ODS party into the coalition. Currently, the three parties hold 20 seats in the 37-member city council. Adding the ODS would increase the coalition's representation to a total of 24 seats, strengthening their majority. The final decision on ODS’s participation remains pending further negotiations between the involved parties in Hradec Králové.
