The bodies of three fishermen have been recovered off the coast of Karachi, near the Nishan-i-Pakistan monument at Sea View, after their boat capsized. The incident occurred on Monday, and a search operation led by the Edhi Foundation, with assistance from the Pakistan Navy and Coast Guard, continued through the night. Two fishermen were rescued on Monday evening, but Abdul Salam (55), Muna (30), and Saeed alias Kalu (35) were missing. The Edhi Foundation confirmed the recovery of all three bodies on Tuesday and transported them to Jinnah Hospital. This latest incident follows a series of similar events in the waters near Karachi, including rescues near Ibrahim Hyderi, Manora, and Keti Bandar, and a drowning near Port Qasim last year. Authorities believe a mechanical fault caused the boat to capsize.
