Thai police are investigating a social media recruiter believed to have hired a Thai Airways cabin crew member to transport packages containing heroin to Australia. The crew member was arrested on heroin smuggling charges after authorities intercepted the illicit substances. Investigators revealed the crew member was paid 8,800 baht for the service. A suspicious parcel delivered to the crew member’s condominium shortly before her arrest is also under scrutiny. Authorities are focusing on identifying the individual behind the social media account used for recruitment. The Office of the Narcotics Control Board is involved in the ongoing investigation.
