Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system, designed for fully autonomous driving, was tested on the roads of Raž, Slovakia. The system demonstrates smooth acceleration and braking, and a courteous driving style that elicits gratitude from other drivers and pedestrians. Despite these positive aspects, the FSD system exhibits imperfections, including a tendency to utilize every lane available and occasional unexpected errors. The technology allows for nearly complete self-driving capability in typical traffic conditions, requiring driver intervention only in limited situations. While promising, the assessment suggests the system isn’t flawless and still requires driver oversight. The test focused on the functionality of the system within the traffic environment of Raž. Further development is needed to refine its performance and reliability.
