Brigitha Massawe, Senior Projects Officer at the Tanzania Organic Agriculture Movement (TOAM), highlighted this growth in an interview with ‘Daily News’. However, Massawe emphasized the need for increased financial support to facilitate expansion across key areas. These areas include organic production itself, sourcing necessary inputs, processing organic goods, obtaining certifications, and effectively organizing farmers. Further investment will be critical to capitalizing fully on the rising global interest in organic products coming from Tanzania.
