Tanzania’s Energy Minister, Deogratius Ndejembi, has praised the nation’s strong involvement in the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project. He highlighted EACOP as a significant driver of employment opportunities within Tanzania. Furthermore, the project is facilitating valuable skills transfer to the local workforce. Ndejembi also emphasized EACOP’s positive impact on the growth of the Tanzanian private sector. The minister made these remarks during a continued inspection of the pipeline’s progress. The EACOP project is viewed as a catalyst for economic advancement in the country, according to the Minister.
