Four Tanzanian artists are prominently featured at the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in Italy. Representing Tanzania for the first time, they are exhibiting under the pavilion theme “Minor Frequencies: The Inner Life of a Nation.” The artists – Turakella Editha Gyindo, Amani Abeid, and Lazaro Samuel – are showcasing their work alongside international contemporaries. This participation signifies a significant cultural moment for Tanzania, establishing a presence on a global stage for contemporary art. The exhibition aims to offer a unique perspective on Tanzanian identity and experience. The Biennale di Venezia is considered one of the most important and renowned art exhibitions worldwide.
