The Tanzanian government has launched the Government Service Directory (GSD), a new digital platform consolidating access to 9,777 government services. This initiative aims to streamline citizen access and improve efficiency in service delivery. Simultaneously, the government introduced the Ngao cyber-security system to bolster the protection of government information systems. The launch occurred during the Public Service Week celebrations in Dodoma. Officials stated the systems are intended to enhance digital service delivery and safeguard sensitive data. The GSD provides a single gateway for citizens to find and utilize a wide range of governmental offerings. This represents a significant step towards digitalization and improved public administration in Tanzania.
