Tanzania and Egypt have reiterated their dedication to a strengthened strategic partnership, prioritizing collaboration on key African initiatives. Discussions centered on advancing the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to boost intra-African trade and economic growth. Both nations also expressed commitment to the African Union’s Agenda 2063, a blueprint for the continent’s development. The partnership aims to foster a more peaceful, unified, and prosperous Africa through increased cooperation. Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr. Ngwaru Maghembe, conveyed Tanzania's resolve in this endeavor. This reaffirmation underscores both countries’ dedication to pan-African progress and regional stability.
