A tugboat that sank off the coast of Midia Port in the Black Sea in March will be raised to the surface on Wednesday. The vessel, lying at a depth of 26 meters, went down following an incident that resulted in the deaths of two crew members and the disappearance of three others. Midia Marine Terminal officials announced the salvage operation is expected to take five to six hours to complete. Once recovered, the tugboat will be brought to Midia Port by the end of the week. The operation aims to recover the vessel and potentially aid in ongoing investigations into the cause of the sinking. Authorities have not released details regarding the method of salvage being employed. The recovery marks a significant step in concluding the response to the maritime incident.
