A second stuntman was injured at the Zwarte Cross festival in the Netherlands after a catapult stunt went wrong. The stuntman, identified as Laurent Arrabito, sustained a broken ankle upon landing on a cushioned area. This incident follows another accident yesterday where Jim van Nes suffered a severe concussion and brief loss of consciousness after colliding with his knee and head. Consequently, all remaining planned catapult stunts for the festival have been cancelled. Festival organizers stated both stunts were "technically sound" despite the injuries and expressed admiration for the stuntmen's courage. Van Nes was briefly hospitalized but reported feeling relatively fine upon discharge. The catapult used was specially designed for the Zwarte Cross festival, and despite the accidents organizers maintain the stunts were well-executed.
