A central assistant international affairs secretary of the Islamic Chhatra Shibir, Jisan Ahmed, was found severely injured near Laksam Junction on Friday night, approximately one day after he went missing. Local residents discovered him in critical condition and facilitated his transport to Cumilla Medical College Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. While hospitalized, Ahmed reportedly provided information regarding his abduction, details of which have not yet been fully released. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance and subsequent discovery are currently under investigation. Authorities have not yet commented on the incident or potential motives. Ahmed previously served as the president of the Cumilla district western branch of the student organization. His condition remains critical as he receives medical care.
