Following weekend storm damage, power has been restored to the vast majority of affected customers. By 6:00 am on August 27th, approximately 98.5 percent of those impacted had their electricity service resumed. However, around 6,800 households are still experiencing outages and remain without power. Utility crews are continuing intensive work to address the remaining disruptions. Restoration efforts are ongoing and focused on the remaining affected areas. Authorities anticipate further progress as work continues throughout the day. The speed of restoration has been considerable, but complete recovery is still underway.
