Starlink is expanding its internet service to offer complimentary WiFi to passengers throughout their flights. The service will be available from the moment passengers board the aircraft – “gate-to-gate” – until landing. Currently, details regarding specific routes and airline partnerships have not been fully disclosed. This initiative aims to provide continuous connectivity, eliminating the typical loss of service during takeoff and landing. Starlink intends to enhance the passenger experience by offering uninterrupted internet access. The company anticipates this will become a standard feature on supported flights, catering to the growing demand for in-flight connectivity. Further announcements are expected regarding the rollout and participating airlines.
