Spanish National Police have dismantled a criminal network exploiting Venezuelan women through sexual exploitation. The group falsely claimed affiliation with the “Tren de Aragua,” a transnational megaband, to intimidate and control victims. Investigators rescued 14 women who were subjected to fabricated debts and threats. The perpetrators used the gang’s reputation to coerce the women into sexual servitude. Authorities report the network operated by creating a climate of fear and leveraging the victims’ vulnerability. This operation represents a significant blow against human trafficking in Spain, targeting those who exploit vulnerable populations under false pretenses. The investigation remains ongoing to identify all individuals involved in the trafficking ring.
