Animal rescuers in Plzeň, Czech Republic, successfully freed a grass snake that became stuck to a piece of discarded tape. The incident occurred on Roudná, where the young snake became adhered to the adhesive material. Rescuers responded on June 10th after receiving a report about the trapped reptile. The snake, a non-venomous grass snake ( *Natrix natrix*), appeared to have underestimated the stickiness of the tape. After careful removal, the animal was released back into its natural habitat.
