Ruud Smulders, Lisa Ostermann, and the duo Yentl en de Boer have each received a Poelifinario, the Netherlands’ most prestigious cabaret award, during the Cabaretgala held in Theater Diligentia in Den Haag. Smulders was recognized in the Entertainment category, marking his first win, while Ostermann took home the award for Engagement, her second Poelifinario, praised for her blend of honesty and absurdity. Yentl en de Boer were also honored for the second time, winning in the Kleinkunst category for their humorous songs. The Neerlands Hoop prize, recognizing promising theater talent, was awarded to David Linszen. The awards are presented by the Vereniging van Schouwburg- en Concertgebouwdirecties (VSCD). The gala also included a tribute to the recently deceased cabaretier and writer Paulien Cornelisse, with Yentl en de Boer dedicating a song to her memory.
