Bratislava-based Jurling Elektromontage, which for a decade promoted itself as a partner for Slovak electricians and installers seeking higher wages in Germany, is now facing insolvency. The company previously reported annual revenues of up to five million Euros and demonstrated healthy profits. However, it has now initiated bankruptcy proceedings, with the Bratislava III Municipal Court commencing the process at the company’s request. Jurling Elektromontage previously facilitated opportunities for Slovak workers to find employment in Germany. The firm’s financial difficulties mark a downturn for a business that heavily relied on cross-border labor. It remains unclear what impact this bankruptcy will have on the electricians and installers who utilized Jurling Elektromontage’s services to work in Germany. The owner, however, is reportedly continuing operations through a different company.
