Slovak documentarian Pekarčík has relocated Ukrainian children to the Carpathian Mountains, providing them with a safe haven and unconventional learning experiences. He intends to educate them in programming, even to a level capable of understanding "Terminator," alongside a veteran with prosthetic titanium legs. The initiative includes bringing in experts to teach about marine biology, frogs, and snakes, offering a diverse curriculum beyond traditional schooling. This effort aims to provide a sense of normalcy and future skills for children displaced by conflict. Pekarčík’s program focuses on empowering these young refugees through education and exposure to unique fields of study. The program intends to help the children adapt and develop crucial life skills. This unusual educational approach seeks to counter the trauma of displacement with intellectual stimulation.
