Students at the Skiathos Senior High School of Vocational Education are embarking on a journalism initiative, set to launch this Sunday, June 14th, 2026. The project, dubbed “The Step of Skiathos,” will focus on issues relevant to young people and the wider local community. Student journalists will profile individuals and showcase the unique locations of the island. The initiative aims to share inspiring stories and raise awareness about important topics. Through their work, the students hope to foster dialogue and critical thinking within Skiathos. The project demonstrates a commitment to local reporting and youth engagement in journalism.
