Therme Group, a wellness operator, plans to launch its inaugural Asian attraction in Singapore by 2030, representing a S$1 billion investment. To gain insight into the planned experience, CNA Lifestyle’s Joyee Koo travelled to Therme Bucharest in Romania. This visit aimed to assess the practical application of Therme’s wellness concept. Therme Bucharest serves as a model for the Singapore facility, offering a glimpse into the potential features and atmosphere. The Singapore attraction is anticipated to be a significant wellness destination in Asia. Details regarding specific offerings and design elements for the Singapore location remain forthcoming, but will likely draw inspiration from the Bucharest experience. The company hopes to replicate the success of its European venues in the Asian market.
