Singapore has launched a new Anchor Professional Services Centre aimed at easing the process for businesses expanding across Asia. Currently, companies seeking to enter new markets like Vietnam often face the challenge of locating and contracting a range of individual professional services – lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, and HR consultants – independently. This new centre will consolidate these crucial services, offering a one-stop solution for businesses navigating the complexities of regional expansion. The initiative aims to streamline operations and reduce the administrative burden for companies looking to grow their presence in Asia. By providing access to a network of professionals and local business connections, the centre intends to position Singapore as a key regional hub for international business. This will hopefully improve the ease of doing business in the region and encourage economic growth. The centre is expected to be fully operational by early 2027.
