The Sindh government will request the Sindh High Court Chief Justice to form a judicial commission to review the investigation into the death of Mir Raza Ali. This decision follows a direct appeal from Ali’s parents, who allege the investigation is biased and incorrectly focuses on a suicide narrative. The parents, through their lawyer, expressed concerns about the probe team’s handling of evidence and its direction. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah's office stated the matter is being treated with “utmost seriousness” and the commission will assess the investigation’s impartiality and legal compliance. The commission’s mandate includes identifying neglected investigative angles and determining if any officials engaged in misconduct or covered up evidence. It will have the authority to recommend further investigation, forensic analysis, and potential legal or departmental action.
